instructions for use

DRY WASH ‘n GUARD® Leather and Vinyl Treatment contains no petroleum distillates, soaps or detergents. It is non-corrosive, non-flammable, and non-caustic. Pre-test on an inconspicuous area before use.

DO NOT use on glass, floors, woven materials or some painted surfaces.
DO NOT mix this product with any other chemicals or liquids.

Directions:

1. Use one soft, clean terry cloth towel or sponge for cleaning, and another for buffing.

2. Invert bottle and shake once or twice.

3. Spray area to be cleaned from a distance of 30cm.To prevent over-spray, apply to an area no larger than 25cm.

4. Rub sprayed area with a soft, clean terry cloth towel or sponge. (For excessively soiled areas, scrub lightly with a soft brush and then rub with a clean soft terry cloth towel or sponge.)

5. For the best result buff lightly with a clean, terry-cloth towel.

DWG® PolyGuard-1® Premium Oil Treatment differs from all other oil products which go into the crankcase because it is an oil treatment, not a metal treatment. It does not bond to the metal in an engine as other products claim to do. DWG® PolyGuard-1® Oil Treatment enhances the film strength of the oil which creates film retention as though your motor oil has bonded to the metal without actually plating or impregnating the metal in a way that it cannot be removed. Why is this important?

This is important because it is actually the film strength which provides your motor oils durability. According to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), 60% of the cooling that is done in your motor is done by the oil itself, and 40% is done by the radiator cooling system. Standard motor oil film strength is 600 to 1100 psi. But pressures inside your engine can exceed 100,000 psi! Simply put, this high pressure “separates” the molecules of your motor oil, which in turn allows metal-to-metal contact between moving parts in your engine. Such contact of moving parts in your engine results in wear - wear that could be avoided if the oil was doing its job. Film strength is incredibly important!

When you add DWG® PolyGuard-1® Premium Oil Treatment to your motor oil, you increase its film strength to more than 150,000 psi. This reduces the metal-to-metal contact, which reduces wear on the engine.  The increase film strength also helps ensure that the moving parts of your engine are always coated with oil ensuring there is less friction. At the same time, the engine is operating more efficiently and running cooler.

Because we are an oil treatment instead of a metal treatment, we have another advantage over the so-called metal bonding products. When those products are added to the crankcase, about 80% of the additive winds up in the oil filter where it can do no good at all. There is no scientific evidence available today for any products proving that they do in fact bond to the metal. DWG® PolyGuard-1® Oil Treatment is a sub-micron product which mixes with the oil, and passes through the oil filter.  This enable the DWG® PolyGuard-1® Oil Treatment to continue to work, by reducing friction in your engine and to help bolster your engine oil's film strength.

Using DWG® PolyGuard-1® Premium Oil Treatment is one of the ways you can help prolong equipment and engine life.  With the high cost of vehicles and motorised equipment these days, there isn't anyone who can't benefit from this fabulous product. Applicator Bottle Refill procedures.

1. Unscrew travel cap on applicator bottle and keep cap aside for measuring.

2. Fill applicator bottle with clean tap water aboy 3 cm from the top.

3. Then using the cap measure and add (3 capfuls) of DWG Ultra Green Superconcentrate to the applicator bottle.

4. Screw spray trigger on to the applicator bottle and gently shake to mix product.

Directions for Use.

1. Turn nozell and adjust sprayer as needed.

2. Pre-test on inconspicuous area on any surface for which you are unsure.

3. Spray product onto soiled areas and wipe clean with paper towel or cloth. No Scrubbing or rinsing is required. Heavy soiled areas mat require a second application.

Instructions for Use ( 250ML Bottle)

DO NOT use near fire, sparks, or flame.  Exposure to temperatures above 55º C may cause bursting.

1. Invert the DWG® Sparkle EZ™ bottle and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until any solids at the bottom of the bottle have been dissolved into the Sparkle EZ™ products.

2. Fill an AIRosol pump applicator 75% full with Sparkle EZ™ product or attach a spray trigger to the Sparkle EZ™ bottle.

3. If using an AIRosol pump applicator pressurise the bottle by pumping the cap "up and down" until a strong resistance is felt (approx. 10-15 times).

4. Apply a light coat of DWG® Sparkle EZ™ to a completely dry surface. There is no need to pre-clean any surface before using Sparkle EZ. There is no need to scrub, the ionic properties of Sparkle EZ will break down even the toughest grease and grime. 

5. Use a clean terry cloth towel to spread the product over the surface you wish to clean until a slight haze is formed.

6. Once a haze has formed use the DWG® Buffing Towel to remove the excess product and buff the surface to a high gloss using light pressure.  No elbow grease required!

Instructions for Use (1 Litre Kit)

It is extremely important that DRI WASH 'n GUARD® for the Home be applied with a DRI WASH 'n GUARD® AirSpray pump sprayer only. Use on hard, non-porous surfaces only. Pre-test on an inconspicuous area before use. Can be used over surface containing moderate level of dust, dirt, road grime or salt.

Refill Procedures:

1. Unscrew collar nut at neck of AIRosol pump sprayer and remove internal spray mechanism

2. Invert bottle of product, shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds

3. Pour contents into AIRosol pump sprayer until 75% full

4. Re-Install spray mechanism and collar nut

Directions By Hand:

1. Apply DRI WASH 'n GUARD® for the Home in a cool, dry surface in a shaded area for best results. Avoid windy conditions if possible.

2. Use a clean terry cloth towel to apply the product. Use the DWG™ Buffing Towel for buffing.

3. Invert the AIRosol pump sprayer and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.

4. Pressurise the bottle by pumping the cap "up and down" until a strong resistance is felt (approx. 10-15 times).

5. Spray a light coat of DRI WASH 'n GUARD® for the Home on a small section of the non-porous surface (1 square.metre.), spraying with a broad sweeping motion where possible.

6. Using the terry cloth towel, with moderately firm pressure, rub polish thoroughly over the sprayed area until the filmy haze that developed almost disappears.

7. Buff the remaining haze to a high gloss with the DWG™ buffing towel

Directions for using a Buffing Machine:

1. Use a conventional or orbital-type buffer equipped with a foam-polishing pad. Do not exceed 1,500 RPM.

2. Apply DRI WASH 'n GUARD® for the Home as described in steps 3, 4, and 5 above.

3. Immediately buff sprayed area to a high gloss.

4. Continue, section by section, until all accessible areas have been buffed.

5. Polish any remaining areas by hand, if necessary.

Caution: Prevent product from freezing. DO NOT MIX THIS PRODUCT WITH ANY OTHER CHEMICAL OR WATER. First Aid Treatment: If swallowed, call physician or poison control centre immediately.
